For adventure lovers! Start the day by visiting the community of San Agustín to learn about their way of life and then visit the incredible Grutas Chocantes in Tekax.
Overview
Early in the morning you will head south to the heart of the Puuc zone. Upon arrival you will enjoy a delicious breakfast at the facilities of the cooperative Turismo Indígena San Agustín.
During your stay you will enjoy the tranquility of the community and observe some of the economic activities that take place in the village, such as the production of charcoal and wooden furniture, the manufacture of handicrafts carved in wood and hammocks, as well as the cultivation of vegetables and medicinal plants in a small local plot.
To recharge your batteries you will enjoy a home-cooked meal at the cooperative and then head to the Grutas Chocantes, where you will visit the famous Grutas de Cristal and its viewpoint located on one of the highest hills in Yucatán, where you can launch yourself on the longest zip line in the state.

This experience is not recommended for people with limited mobility.
There is no cell phone coverage in St. Augustine.
