Overview
Start in Merida at 7:30 a.m. and head to Cenotillo, where you will find a large number of cenotes, including the Xooch cenote, unique in Yucatan, both for its large size and the exuberant nature that surrounds it.
During this adventure, enjoy a 4 kilometer bike ride from the center of Cenotillo to the entrance of the cenote, where you will find a cool guano palapa to catch your breath. Live an almost exclusive experience by swimming in its crystalline waters, because very few visitors dare to reach this site.
After swimming in the crystalline waters of the cenote, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local house. On the way back to Mérida, stop in Izamal to discover its cobblestone streets and yellow facades, as well as the convent of San Antonio de Padua and the archaeological site of Kinich Kakmó.
