Overview
Leave Mérida in the morning to visit the archaeological site of Chichén Itzá. Admire the pyramid of Kukulkan and the surrounding buildings, such as the ball court and the observatory.
Then, travel to the community of Yokdzonot and discover an incredible and unique cenote, operated by a cooperative composed mainly of local women. Take a refreshing swim in the cenote’s blue waters and bring out the adventurer in you with zip-lining and rappelling activities among its vertical walls. Finish your visit with a delicious traditional meal at the cooperative’s restaurant. Transfer from Yokdzonot back to Merida, arriving around 5:00 PM.
