Our participation in the Jornadas de Innovación Social (Social Innovation Conference)
On the 25th of may, in the Faculty of Anthropological Sciences of the Autonomous University of Yucatan (UADY), the ninth edition of the Jornadas de Innovación (Innovation Conference) organized by the Research Secretariat (SIIES) took place, with the main topic being social innovation. It generated a space for knowledge exchange, product experiences and perspective as well as the project’s new services or processes that generate value and satisfy different social needs.
The conference was directed to people interested in improving the society we live in, social researchers, civil society organizations and socially responsible companies.
In this forum we had the opportunity, together with other social projects, to share our work. Dr. Manuel Xool presented us as organization as well as the actions and objectives we aim for, through the promotion of alternative community-based tourism.
